Guardiva Privacy Policy

Guardiva is an on-device SMS filtering application designed to detect and filter potentially harmful or spam messages using Apple’s IdentityLookup framework.

1. Overview

Guardiva analyzes incoming SMS messages locally on your device to determine whether a message should be classified as “Junk” or “None.”

Guardiva does not collect, store, or transmit the content of your messages to any external server.

2. Message Processing

All SMS classification is performed locally on the user’s device using Apple’s Message Filter Extension (IdentityLookup framework).

• Message content is never sent to Guardiva servers.
• Message content is never stored outside the device.
• No remote AI or cloud-based analysis is used.

Guardiva only returns a classification result (e.g., Junk or None) to the iOS system.

3. Data Collection

Guardiva does not collect:

• SMS message content
• Phone numbers from messages
• Contact lists
